Studio Testing with Chloe @ Elite

To round off the last week filled with test shoots and begin the long weekend in the best way, two of the girls from Elite popped into the studio for a shoot with me, as well as Rosana for hair and make-up.

We were really lucky to see Chloe on her month in town from L.A, where she is signed with Next.

We shot three looks, changing the mood each time, and chatted over Hollywood life, crazy halloween parties, Binx, and the magical place that is New Orleans.

The first look was more natural, hair down, minimal make up, loose knits and comfy fat Nike trainers.

Look two was more classically beautiful portraiture. Hair back, black and white, a bit more skin and a lot more bokeh.

The last look was make-up fitted around Chloe's awesome Van Halen shirt and a bit of a jig around our little space!

David McLeod @ Elite Models London

Australian born model David McLeod, new face at Elite Models, popped in for a test session last week.

Amongst chatting English weather, awesome shoes, and seeing his friends on magazine covers, we captured what we think are some great shots of him! Here are a few...

We snuck this last one in at the end because we just loved David's crazy striking blue eyes, and he said it was his favourite colour!

Portraits from the Homestead in West Hampstead

Aside from the obvious fun we have, one of the other benefits to working as a photography duo is that sometimes, when you want to try something new with your camera, or test a new style before you bring in the models, is to be able to tap up the other person to come and model for you instead.

I personally think I'm on the better side of this, as Jordanna is very photogenic, vs myself who usually looks like some sort of weird frog.

On Tuesday, she popped over to mine (another benefit - we live 5 streets apart) for a glass or 2 of vino, and some natural light testing portrait and beauty shots at my apartment/home studio.

That's all on this occasion, but we will be testing very shortly, so look out for the next posts!
