Scotland bound! - for 100 years of fashion photography
If you're Scotland bound, anywhere close to Dundee between now and January 6th, be sure to check out V&A organised exhibition at The McManus Art Gallery & Museum: Selling Dreams.
As the rest of the title will tell you, it's the past 100 years of Fashion Photography, and while we've not yet been able to make it up there (damn Fashion Week never ends!) to tell you what we thought, the illustrious list of names whose images are on display tell you everything you need to know.
'Selling Dreams' is the first V&A touring exhibition to explore the work of fashion photographers over the years in such detail.
The work of the legends of the genre such as Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton and David Bailey will sit alongside the contemporary counterparts including Rankin, Corinne Day, Steven Meisel and Tim Walker.
The exhibition has been touring since early this year, so if you can't make it to the Dundee exhibit, check with the V&A to where you'll be able to find this one next!
